Questions, answered
Do I need an account to use FamilyMed Guard?
No. There is no sign-up, no account and no password. Everything works on your device from the moment you install the app.
Where is my medication data stored?
All data — medications, schedules, dose history, photos and settings — is stored only in the app's local database on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Does the app share my data with anyone?
No. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. The only external request the app can make is sending a medication name to the FDA OpenFDA database when you explicitly run a safety check.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
All locally stored data is deleted. Before switching devices, use Backup & Transfer in Settings to export your data to a file, then restore it on the new device.
